    shiabberanks!

Shiabberanks is a word a friend of mine used to say,

Shiabberanks is an old cat, who for our purposes was Grey,

Shiabberanks is what I said, Instead of the other word I wanted to proclaim,

when I opened the door and saw you that day, standing between the frame,

I wish, that right then, I could have taken you to the centre of the our galaxy,

to the very edge of the super massive black hole that sits there,

Gargantuan galactic, eternally digesting the present ,and consuming forever,

I would have presented you to him, and hurled you in, and watched him spit you out, the thing that swallows all ,
I bet he could not bear to swallow you,

having tasted light, you were another kind of flame, that much I know is true,

This is what I should have told you then, but Shiabberanks! is all I could utter,

and shiabberanks is what your saying to me now, twelve thousand lifetimes later,

and I still don't know what it means, but sometimes, not knowing,is safer.

cool stuff, really not knowing sometimes could be safer, but most times more dangerous.cool

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
