Sinking in you
Drowning in a sea of broken dreams and forgoten memories that you let drift away. Can't seem to get my head above water in the oceans of the tinder things you used to say. I'm sinking deeper in everything that I miss, that brought so much bliss, now I'm choking on the sea salt of our last kiss.
Why did the tide have to turn? Made it all this way for my ship to burn. Overboard and surrounded by the all tears that I cried, sinking further down within loves underside.
No rescue, out here all alone. Sending out sos but, you wont pick up the phone. I can't swim in these choppy waters of reminisce, throw up my arms and let myself float down in my broken hearted abyss.
And I wonder, who will send out rescue for me, another sailor lost on the waves of loves tragic seas? Didn't think I would be going under in a world with a you without a me, if I don't make it back, never forget is my only plea.
Love, love, everywhere, not a drop for me.....
