    Poem Commentary

Just another poem. Nothing really inspired me to write this. I just thought about what would happen when me and him aren't together anymore. Which was really sad :(

    Slowly forgetting

    how can you not see
the anger that flows out of me
Every minute that passes me by
It's like I'm slowly going to die

    You're with her aren't you
so i guess we're officially through

How could i thought it would last
    I'm living in the past

Why do i feel so hurt
    Like i'm breathing in dirt

Every memory that is in my mind
I just can't leave it behind

So in my memory it will stay
I won't think about it everyday

    Just for awhile
    Every mile

    As the years past on
    They will slowly be gone

    I guess this will do
I will slowly forget about you

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
