    Some Are Dark Flowers

    Some Are Dark Flowers
    04/19/09

    An indecision that dwells
Would be connection within my sympathy
    A neurotic path which impels
Grieves no desire for little apathy

    Slithering along silk panes
    Provides truance to negate against
Securely now to acquit the insane
    Allows promotion for their strain

    Front blood never turned blue
    For open skies that swallowed
    Your passed assault churned adieu
A naked state now becomes hallowed

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
