    Spirit Man is Calling

Spirit man, calling, rolling with the clouds.

I hold you, love you, adore you, my bright sun, I give you my life.

Shades of grey, light blue, standing there, as life pulls it's breath from you.

A man of many memories, so many you have filled, with no thought I will rescue you.

A up hill climb, I'll fight to extend your time.

Spirit man calling, rolling with the clouds.

Ambulance trip, life draining from your lips, a hit... and a miss.

Dawn falling down, who could imagine this. I breathed my life into you, my wife, my lover... My friend.

We can never know when, we must just try to be ready and prepared and believe that the day will come when the scales balance out again. Could use a spit polish, and some more rhyme, seems unfinished, give it time. Write on...

This poem makes me want to hold on tighter!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
