Spiritual Warfare

Take care of the body,

As well as the mind

Have patience, commit

Be one of a kind.

Love and honor;

Give in to good cheer.

For salvation’s own

Is not far, but near

The body,

Has a mind of its own

When attacked,

Not one cell lies alone.

The coming together;

The brotherly pack

Rebukes the unwanted; and

Sends them right back

Jesus Christ

Has a purpose of His own-

When attacked,

Not one spirit walks alone.

My Shepherd, solely

Watches over His pack;

Rebukes the unwanted; and

Sends them right back!

As life is just,

Have faith over fear.

For our Lord, Christ Jesus

Is not far, but near.

Not always when we want,

But always on time.

The Lord heals the body

By feeding the mind!

Like riding a bike

For the very first time

Learn not to quit

But how to survive.

“If only”, God said;

“You could just get it right.”

“Carry these values

Along with you in life!”

“If I did it before

I’ll do it again!”

“Not just because I love you,

But because I can!!!!!!!”

“I can place you in it,

As well as, lead you through!”

“When you accept the words

I have given to you.”

And so, no matter what

Continue your praise!

With the good and the bad;

Through the difficult maze!

For, to look to the left;

And not to the right,

Is to disobey Him

And not sleep at night.

But, as we obey Him

Being humble and kind

He cares for the body

He feeds the mind

Not only should we

Keep the faith

By the moment

But, all of the day

Also we must

Dismiss the fear

For salvation’s own

Is not far, but near.

Armageddon

Out of here!

I enjoyed your poem. It's very good. You may perhaps like mine Titled Grace. Similar thoughts.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
