    Stand & Hope..

The sweet smell of a sacred brand,
The shivers of a small quake,
The beauty of the never-ending souls of the twined black holes,
How these things I think of daily,
The warm embrace of the red sky,
The strong pull into its heart,
    I've no complaints,
For this is where I stand and hope,
And although I pray all day,
No dreams are answered for me,
    But still I've no complaints,
For one day I know my prayer will be delivered and answered back to me.

Nice Job! Love the concept; HOPE AGAINT HOPE it's apart of lfie to run into rough patches an situations. The key is to KEEP looking up for that prayer to be delivered back with an answer. Hope against Hope.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
