    Standing in the Rain

    The storm has come,
    Brings unstoppable rain,
    Its cold and dark,
And clouds have come to stay.

    Go away rain,
    Go away clouds,
    I ask you to leave,
I don't want you to stay.

    I'm tired of your arrival,
    I can't take another day,
I want this storm to go away,
And find somewhere else to stay.

All i see are hard drops of rain,
    So much presser falling,
I can't see the crack of day,
Please God make it all go away.

    I want the sun,
    Helps me see clear,
I want the colors of the rainbow,
It brings joy to see it come near.

Lord replys, I hear your cry".
You can't have sun without the rain,
You can't be blessed, without a storm.
You can't have a rainbow and always want it to stay.

If i take the rain, the sun will never shine
If i take the storm, how will my glory be shown
    Your my vessel of clay,
And the rain helps me mold you everday.

My child bear the storm another day,
For i know you will make it to the crack of day,
Dance with me in the rain,
Praise me as I lead you ever step of the way.

Bear the storm just one more day,
Hold my hand and I will stay,
    Face the storm,
For it will pass and i will not allow it to stay.

***In the mist of your storm know that God has a purpose. Sometimes we curse the storm which we find ourselves in and God is trying to show us a different perspective. God will never give you more than you will ever be able to bear. He allows us to go through storms because he knows and trust we will hear his noise. When our rainbow arrives after our storm remember not only you will see the beauty of it but, all those who surround you. So, if you find yourself in the middle of the storm...i challenge you to dance in the rain and praise as he leads the way. ***
