    STREET

    It's 5:A.M
I need to make my bed and pack my bag
Stand in line, before the coffee gets cold
    Sit and eat my mush
    Keep a eye on everyone
There's no one you can trust
Just because you sit down by my side
    Don't make you my friend
    In all reality
You could lead me to my end
    Your filthy, and you stink
    This makes me think
    You came in late
Long after they locked up the shower gate
    Dont smile at me
There is nothing that we share
    Except this homeless shelter
    And the streets out there
    LISTEN
    Please listen to me
Your better off without a friend like me
I've been out here so long
That now I don't know right from wrong
I tell you all this, right from the start
So there will be no bitter feelings when we part
Yeah,  sure I can watch your back as you sleep
But what I take from you, is mine to keep

    Good-night,
                     Little Buddy..
