survival

Ever think you met the man of your dreams, til one day he needed to blow off some steam,  everyday you woke up black and blue, and every day you lied so no one  knew.  There was days when I thought what if i didnt wake up, end the pain, end the game of cat and mouse, being tortured in my own house, not knowing if Id walk from one beating to the next, then id hear my babies cry, and then i knew why i had to survive.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
