I hope your thoughts might find solace
in words that I've told
As your guidance lies silenced
on some old gravel road
While in a basket of epiphanies
hearts and delusions
A better half sits enticed
by the smell of intrusion
So the young are left wandering
led wayward, astray
By a conscience once squandered
by a legend left away
Until love turns to loss
and then loss back to love
On a wall built for striking
with a meaningful shove
Now when the path gets too twisted
keep his will to continue
The road may seem lonely
Still the legend lives in you
