    Text Me 2009

    if we fail
    we can delete ourselves
    and create a new avatar
    in splendid animation
    with glitter and bling

    if we're lonely
    we can fantasize
    about our appearance
    who we'd like to be
who we'd like to be with
    prepare the perfect profile
    and join
    intimatemoments.com

    if we're tired
    we can drink
    a pot of Java script
    and mainline
    a few hyper-links

    and by all means
    if you need a friend
    text me

Yup! Brave New World is here! Wonderful, ain't it?? Oh well, maybe not QUITE how we dreamed it 50 years ago. Excellent critique, aptly expressing the sterility of contemporary seduction by machines designed to mimic human contact.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
