    THE HAIR

    I look in the sink
    And what do I see
    A hair just laying there
    Staring at me

    I call to my mother
    But she's not home
    I call to my sister
    But she's on the phone

    I turn on the faucet
Try to flush it with water
But the hair just lays there
So I turn it up hotter

    I scream at the hair
    I curse and I swear
But the hair just lays there
And says..."I'm just laying here and staring to stare!"

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
