The inner me
The Inner Me
By Robert F. Barber
Here I am within myself… trying to find the highest point in life
It seems that all things that are good are vestigle…only a trace remains
This is an incomprehensible mystery
It’s dark in here ( my soul )
It has.. an abysmal feeling…
I can move desultorily in any direction I please
I am walking,.. but to where,.. it’s not here nor is it there
Suddenly.. I find myself in a part of me that I have never known before
It is bright, scintillating
Suddenly, I am being struck by an arbitrary feeling
Telling me not to be stopped
To seek and I shall find
For divinity is not on the outside
It is in here,… the soul,…which is the mind,… The Inner Me
