    Poem Commentary

A broken heart I have been trying to mend for a year, sometimes brings out these little poems.

    The Truth

We are taught never to lie.
    how then can it be
Such an easy task eludes our mind.
I was blind this is true.
    Choosing not too see
the Lies and deceit said by you.
    To love is to trust
    will I never love again?
You were the lie I can never forget
    I Have to forgive; I haven't yet.
The fool I was made out to be
The lies and the truth I could never see
I loved you oh so true
    But you never loved me.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
