This is My Acceptance Speech into Adulthood. Although I took the unofficial oath almost 10yrs ago I wanted to make sure all knew it was official so here it is, Official & Original! So never again confuse me with a child, I’m on my grown woman daily!

               I was extended an offer some years ago to let go of my child mentality and to grow up and so I accepted.
This was not a job I was trained or prepared to do but as the years gave me extended commitment, my knowledge grew.
Today here I stand a grow woman officially accepting my Invitation not Imitation into adulthood as some others have!
I now understand that age does not justify knowledge nor distinguish adult from child it only means years on earth, from your death until your birth.
You will age, that is guaranteed, but without the knowledge learned from life's lessons, in your journeys & goals you will not succeed!
I may at times be silly or enjoy childhood things but never confuse my personality with the mentality my adulthood brings.
I may at times appear to be mean or some will say, but it is not being hateful if I don’t accept your bullshit and tell you that to your face.
Take that as a show of realness and please never confuse it with hate.
I may at times smile for no reason or when happiness is far away, don’t think that I don’t understand hard times, I am just too strong to let them reflect on my face.
I may at times accept liars and haters into my life with open arms don’t take that as a show of dumbness, but those are the ones I have to keep close tabs on. 
Sometimes I may not acknowledge you when you think you have my attention, just because I am not staring at you doesn’t mean that I’m not listening. 
And also in my life I’ve learned that Love is a novel with many chapters but as books are written they also have sequels so there can eventually be a Happily Ever After !
And as I conclude my Acceptance Speech I hope to also hear yours one day, I mean its one thing to live the life of an adult but it’s another to actually be the definition of it everyday,
and trust, I DEFINE!
So with the approval of Knowledge, Wisdom & Life I do sign this below, in your mind visually create what you may but see my signature is posted so the world can know.
