27 years from my time of birth i have managed to survive on this earth but trust when i say the road ive walked wasnt easy and if i told ya my life, my stories, you wouldnt believe me.

Makes no sense some say the things ive been through, Makes no sense some say the way life does you, but life is not a map nor do i believe its been planned. Its a constant source of enlightenment giving you all that you can stand!

Burned bridges in my past before any lessons i had learned, i now have knowledge as a tool to rebuild the bridges i once burned. I now have knowledge as a tool to rebuild the tables i have turned!

I shed tears without thought for the pain in my life, i shed tears to cleanse my soul and sleep oh so well at night. New outlooks on the world and now the sun does shine, lived so long in the dark, didnt know my life was even mine!

Ive grown much respect for my elders, thanks for paving the way. Ive grown much respect for my parents cause im here today. Ive grown much respect for my true friends, thanks for knowing my heart. Ive grown much respect for myself, thanks for growing up and allowing a new start!

Ive grabbed hold to my future and im holding it tight, ive never been a religious person but i thank GOD every night! I show appreciation now for things i once blamed the world for, I show appreciation now for knowlegde, the key that has now opened, a once closed door!

I now take nothing forgranted, and Appreciate more!
