To My Dear Child, Please Forgive Me!
As I sit here and count the days,
I constantly want to change my ways.
I have hurt people I love and others too,
But I never thought of how I hurt you.
I am your Mother, your protector, your provider,
Never had I thought Prison would be our divider.
As I sit and pray of the day we'll be together again,
Living our lives without all of the sin.
Please forgive me for the choices I've made,
I hope your love for me will never fade.
Dear child of mine I want you to know,
Deep in my heart I love you so.
Please Forgive Me!
