tranquility

tranquility

to see your own reflection in a body of water
to hear the sounds of nature calling
to sit right back and let the waters take you
and to learn about life and thy own self never know

Water is life like an aching knife
to plunge down deep and never sleep
to hold your breath like an moorners kept
and to wade out far and never slip

to quick is the rivers tongue
stead hands on a dead mans gun
like a knight for heaven sake
and to fall deep down in the bluest wake

water is the essence of mother nature
for it is said to live you must create her
tranquility is ever scorned
as no peace to come from the rivers sword

but to float in safety and never swallow
a drop of water and dream of tomorrow
so my souls have been lost to this peaceful place
but to live you must want to take her

The rivers end is in thy own eye
like a pirates ship flashing by
guns ablazing and swords a waving
ary e matey I am gonna take thy

funny is it that life is so grand
when siting on trampled land
no more beauty must come through these walls
as the rivers life is seldom saw

But to you I say give up this day
and live your life in anyway
always be true to thy own word
as the rivers scorn is might bold

But peace and love can also be seen
only to look at the lands of green
don't forsake thy own self in anyway
as you might not live to see another day
