    Truthfulness

You say you love him, but do you really?
Did you ever really love him?
Or was it all just for kicks and giggles?
Where you ever really happy with him,
Or was it all just a charade?
    Can you truly say that
He is the one for you?
Or are you just fooling yourself?
I know the truth, I can see it.
Deep inside you’re hurt and you’re
Trying to hid it, but I can
See through all of your acts.
You need to stop playing these
    Games and just be honest
    With yourself.
Then you will feel a lot better.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
