    Unity

    have you ever watched
    just sat back and observed
herein lies the answers to life
    burnt a Unity candle
    like two lovers embraced
flames the face of their passion
    separate two flames
    burning singly, steadily
    side by side
    without cause or motivation
    with no warning or apprehension
    2 become 1
    one flame burns wildly
    forcefully out of control
    yet never leaving its pedestal
they begin to dance with each other
flickering now and then to remind us of their passion
i've become drawn into thier beauty
i am reminded of our love
    Unity...
    ... how completely relevant

Beautiful. you have a deeper way of expressing than any living poet I have met. I know you have been through much suffering.Thank you.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
