    WHAT AN INSPIRATION?

How come I write my best?
When I’m in the mist of tears?

I wonder how I get to rhyme.
At those times I feel like lime?

How I reach out fast for pen and pad?
Just to put these pains on plains?

What a better way I‘ve found
    To unburden those acquired pound?

In the mist of depression and hurt,
I list my thoughts for other’s drought.

I hope one day, just one day
This piece of poem would make your day

    Giving you the desired succor
Rather than add to your moment of sour.

Inspiration penned at its best! Yeah I would guess this came 'In the Mist of Tears.' Just an overflow of the hurt & pain that the heart releases. Out of Sight ~ Excellent write. :)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
