What is to be, must be!

What is to be, must be!

What is to be, must be.
    This I surely know.
Though the choices lie in my hand,
It is God that makes me grow.

    The gems of life appear,
And you're just at the spot.
    A beatiful girl from nowhere,
Like a rabbit from a hat.

Dazed from starig in my eyes,
I caught her with a glance.
Now her will is to do my bidding,
She is lost in an alluring trance.

Tables turned, my eyes are fixed,
She has movements like a dance.
She blushes as I touched her lips,
    Embedded in romance.

Seeing the power she has on me,
Its as if I had no chance.
    I must say,
This way it must be the moment I took that glance.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
