Poem Commentary

very old. yet very true to this day

When these AREN"T my Lonely days

Why did you have to steal my heart
i was ready to play the part
but now you've left me here to die
if you din't mean it then why did you lie
is it that you never tire
of breaking my heart and lighting it on fire
it's like that's what you always do
i don't know why i stlill love you
you took my heart and left a gaping hole
now i'm empty and it's like you've taken my soul
the day you left is the day i dead
dou you know how much i have cried
i used to tell toher girls to stay busy
until you can't think coase you're so dizzy
you don't know hwo hard it can be
seeing that picture of you and a girl that's not me
i try hard everyday to be brave
to not think of these days as my grave
i feel this wet on my cheeks, salty tears
they confirm true, my biggest fears.

I like this - the emotions are very pure - 10.....

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
