    Wings of Pegasus

    Between the acts of night and day,
    The time of hiding, for nymphs and wraiths,
    In a lea, atop the clouds,
    Awaits a steed as knell resounds;
    Standing brazen, amongst windflower,
    With reverence for,"the final hour."

    In, the valley of snakes below,
    The overlord, of darkened souls,
    Conducts the death overture...

    The demon of dark, he wants this steed;
    To ride upon, to spread his seed,

    Who stole the wings of Pegasus;
    To replace them with this horn?
    Who took him from the windflower,
    To feed on earthly corn?
    Who pilfered what was free?

    'Twas Mephistopheles!
