YOU SPOKE

YOU SPOKE

You spoke
It spoils everything
The Innocence taken away
A sweet friendship
we had a chance
To enjoy

You spoke
Nothing will remain
As it were
Its taken out........
The chastity
In sitting across each other
Enjoying a simple meal
A deep felt laughter
Walking down the streets
Holding hands
Poking each other
playfully
Whiling out the nites
Cuddled up with a pulp and popcorns
and a good movie
Reminiscing some moments
That only with such a friend as you
Would we laugh about with

You spoke
You told of your deepening feelings
Bringing in all the weirdeness
In this great hub
we had managed to create
You spoke
Don't know if to be mad
Or to appreciate
You spoke
Now it will never be the same.

Whether from reality or imagination you have shared a poignant moment in time.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
