    Young Time

In 1953 when I loved you and you loved me,
we never worried, or seemed to care, that someday we would grow old.
What happened to all those years, of life's joys and wet tears?
when loved you and you loved me?
When I came to you in golden time and said, you were still mine, you held me close, and said I cannot remember in 1953 when I loved you and you loved me.
When we kissed and you smiled, I closed my eyes and thought of all the lies and timeless ties, that bound us close in restless sighs..
