    3 june 2004

    my heart stank
    of love
    so sweet
    my stomach quivered
    the flowers before me withered
    and the sun blinked out
    for the very last time
    that day
    I couldn't help
    the disease
    that overtook my mind
    so quickly
    so silently
    snuck up on me
    and mugged my soul
    took everything
    I owned
and ran off thievishly into the night
    and I wait
    breath baited
    your return
    doubtful
    my pain
    insurmountable
    and I'm stuck
    -yet another night-
    alone
