71 Degrees and Cloudy

Air is thick with moisture...grey sky above seems full, but not releasing anything
Perfect temperature but too grey for me today
needing sunshine to go out and play
Wanting to wear shades & sunblock too
put up an umbrella with colors red, yellow, blue
On the sandy beach i lay my towel down to read a good read...and hoping seagulls dont poop down on me
maybe tomorrow the sun will return and give us all a good burn
and back to work i have to go, at the stroke of midnight ya know?
work all night, sleep all day, a sad way to pass my Summer away...
Next week another weekend to play, hopefully on a Sunny Day

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
