Breeze on my Face

Breeze on my Face

Near the Pacific i walk and breathe, ocean air blowing softly on my face..
Natural air conditioning all for free, I feel it as i walk down the sand...
Wondering how God gave us all this water & land...while noone holds my hand.
The joy i feel comes from within, knowing someday i will walk with HIM.
Nature abounds with beautiful sounds and sights, waves clapping on the sand, stars twinkling on Summer nights.  My senses are seeing, hearing and often smelling the Ocean and its hidden life...how did i land here?  While never wanting to go here, come here or live here, somehow i landed here & stayed here & love here...Who knew?  Not I...Gods plan surely do surprise, and now this crazy girl rarely wants to cry..

I was fortunate to live on the shoreline also. The waves crashed against the seawall less than 6ft from the back porch and the gulls could be fed in flight from the upstairs windows. It was a magical three years and I truely connect with your thoughts in this lovely piece. There's nothing like the experience, enjoy it as long as you can :D

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
