"All this Hate I hold for you"

I thought I could Love you
    but I reallise,
    All this hate for you
    I hold inside!
How you fall for fake, self loving,
    materialistic  women,
    I will allways despise.
I was pregnant with our son,
but you looked out for number one.
    Infatuation for my sister
    that's when I knew,
Just how much hate I held
    for you...
I tried to forgive and forget
    but the hate only grew,
but I felt with two babies
    I could never leave you.
How I yearned for affection that you
    never knew,
several years later when you finally grew,
I shooed you away because of all this
    hate I've held for you.
    How do I let go
when I've held on so long?
I feel this hate only makes me strong!

Love it. I can relate to this and I know Hate very well.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
