"The Proposal"
A single red rose to show me you love me,
to show me you care for me
and will allways be there for me.
The thorn that pricked me
which bore my blood
to make me bleed,
Which poured into a sea of redness,
a sea of love
that made me believe....
A single Yellow rose to show me friendship,
a loving companionship.
The single petal that fell
which made me fall for you....
A single white rose to show me eternity,
that you'll be there for me
and love me eternally.
The promise you made
that told me your feelings for me will never fade.
Then there was you, knelt on one knee,
With the ring in your hand,
a gleam in your eyes.
I could barely speak as I whispered
I DO!!!
