    Poem Commentary

    In Loving Memory Billi Hiensley

    An Angel,

    Walking hand and hand
    Appreciating  your gracefulness
Always an angel holding out the palm
    of your hand
God must need angels along his side
For you a wonderful mother and great
    friend
The gifts you gave us with your presence
Love and miss you for you will always
remain an angel to me  my friend
Now as you watch over the heavens
Still an angel remains in your footsteps
Always so generous with your presence
Never say good bye to the memories
    But...
Remember the angel we once shared
Experienced the angel in you my
    beloved friend

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
