    Atmosphere (burning within it)

    Like the air we breath,

love is something that we just cant grasp.

still we wear our hearts on a sleeve,

though life is drowning in an ocean; and now it gasp.

But your heart gasps for the love it needs,

love is more like air than we'll understand.

forming in our souls like seeds,

it often slips through fingers like sand.

Yet still it's like an ocean it's self,

its not hard to lose yourself and drown.

Its much easier to free fall to an unknown depth,

is it where you are that makes the temp go down

Flip the poles, and see that cupid can be the Sandman.

your heart starts looking like a battle field.

never looking the same as when it began,

what profits do a cold heart yield.

Warm as summer, refreshing like its breeze,

in its wake, like trees we are bound to bend.

we hope to be infected by this most seductive disease,

which stings so good, like the scarring wind.

Whats deceiving is the pull of your gravity,

Coming your way i have no fear.

I feel as though gravitation is zero, all the while burning in your proximity,

Still this by far is the most pleasurable atmosphere.

:) ...now for constructive destruction: your over-usage of the pronoun "It" really takes me out it, the poem.

true though i could use other words it leaves so much room and some things can only be desrbed as it, only b/c cause we lack its full understanding
