    For Peace and Serenity

A flurry of pink petals dance in the wind

curiously yet carressing calm they spin

frolicking in the winds furrious flutter

so hopelessly hooked - not one word will i utter

a snow storm of petals atract the eye

a dazziling display accross earth and sky

    Rain rain come again

    and wash away worldly sin

who am i to wear a cheshire grinn

that is a manifestation of juice and ginn

i feel so hot , but the rain keeps me cool

there for my reactions are hardly cruel

you bring the gang- I bring rain to flood

wash you away and leave nothing but mud

    from there innocence will sprout

accompanied by the peace and serenity that lay about

like so many bodies in an endless field of grass

and so i say to myself how long will it last.

i partly agree with wnearyw, but i also believe that everyone has their own unique style of writing. i really like this poem because it displays a cool writing style and it really portrays what you're trying to get across. good job!

not a bad sentiment at all, a little disjointed maybe but nothing that can't be cleaned up.
