Based on a true story
[ Based on a True Story ]We each walk a path that we've selected in every choice we make. This path takes in many different directions, going many different ways.. crossing and intersecting with various objects and people...and sometimes we go in a direction others may not follow, losing those once closest to us. I have followed my road to the point i have realized what remains... and what no longer does... and for the first time.. i was saddened by what was lost along the way... and now i know that life will never be the same, and things will never be as well.. this is the reality of life

i feel the wind it's blowin... blowin in my direction
pushin me away from somethin... im losin connection
been lookin all around me... and nothing no longer surrounding
life has moved on... it's moved on without me
i keep on my path.. pushin me further n further
my dreams shattered on the ground
my spirit crying murder murder...
i feel a hand grip my shoulder as i try n rush to the scene
a voice whispers softly, its time to invest in newer dreams...
im stuck in silence.. not believing what i hear...
i then realize how everything begins to disapear
this cant be happening to me.. im losing it all
nothing remains unchanged.. its like ive forgotten it all
This is my nightmare... brought to life
this where my dreams.. leave my sights...
makin room for new things...but i miss the old times...
this is my nightmare... welcome to real life....
i see who i am...and look at who i will become
i look at what im doing... and what i have done...
i see where im going... and where i have gone..
and i will never forget...the place where ive come from
ive done wrong to myself in others.. but im not dumb
ive been a positive result from all of the outcomes...
but one thing passes me.. that leaves forever...
and it makes me cry..but the tears dont appear...
the emotions just eat away inside of me...
