BIG DADDY

BIG DADDY

While surrounding myself,

Every where I go but were I belong,

The feelings I hold inside,

Overcomes my pain is just to strong,

So maybe I’ll run try to hide away,

To GOD I prey,

That I wake up and see a brighter day,

So I close my eyes and prey,

When I open them,

I see a new day

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
