Bipolar

Bipolar is fun, bipolar is tough.

Some days are great, some not so much.

Where does it come from, where does it go?

Why is it here?  I’ll never know.

Bipolar sucks, bipolar is great.

Up or down, you’ll always tempt fate.

In or out, up or down,

Stay away from women, stay away from town.

Stay away from cards, stay away from the mall.

Stay away from everything, lest you fall.

Bipolar kicks, bipolar reeks.

If only depression were just a few weeks.

Mania is bliss, Mania is curses.

Leads to bad thoughts, and too many verses.

When does it end?  It never does.

Can I hold out?  What a bad buzz.

Away I will go, but I don’t know when.

My soul and I, together again.

I got dizzy reading this, great description of what it must feel like to experience this condition, sorry you have to...keep writing , it's a great way to deal with what life throws your way...

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
