    To My Unborn Son

I don’t know what you look like

    I haven’t seen your face

I wouldn’t know what to do

If you don’t start the race

    What’s your name

    I cannot say

    There are lots of opinions

I’ll figure it out one day

    I love you now

    I always will

    Show me your heart

    Mine you’ll always steal

    Hug your mom

    Go to bed

    Kiss you goodnight

    Right on your head

    Hold my hand

    Kick your sis

    Stand your ground

    Life is bliss

    When you marry

    Love forever

    Give me grandkids

    Made even better

    When I’m old

    Know I cared

    When you’re old

    I hope to be there

I love the anticipation and all the hopes spelled out for the future and how it is all positive, except the sister thing!!! Thank you for sharing your son with me...

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
