    Blue Moon

Holding her so close; her flesh become his
Engrossed in each others love; in each others skin

Nothing between them, but the dark moon above
Entangled in the web, entangled in each others love

The moon so dark it creates a blue haze
A veil of blood on the bed were they lay

Lightning strikes the sky caught up in the storm
Who would have thought this was a vampires home

He hypnotizes her and takes the first bite
She fight him, she fights with all her mite

Barley breathing, no air in her lungs
She feel the blaze; she feel the burn

Pressing from the fangs of their erection
Taking the final bite of pure satisfaction

Counting the minutes until the sun rises
Disappearing in the air waiting for another blue moon

My daughter love to read vampire novels. I don't know if that is good or bad, but I wrote that poem for her.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
