    Breath

    Breath

I wait in the darkness by her side...

Soothed by sound of her breathing,

Barely seeing her in the predawn glow,

Waiting for the first ray of sun,

    To touch her angelic face,

Reveal the smooth curve of her cheeks,

Highlight the softness of her long brown hair,

    Slowly exposing her alluring eyes,

Those eyes I long to kiss,

    Kiss away the sorrows,

    And seal all her dreams,

    I envy the light,

    It can touch her skin,

    And make her glow,

    And her lips,

That says so much in these early moments,

    Gently erotica, tempting, sirens lips,

    I desire to wake her,

With a kiss on those lips,

    Her cheeks, her neck..

And kiss her after the setting sun,

So I can be near again,

    And find the comfort ,

    Listening to her breath.
