    Butterflies

    Excitement
the rollercoater dip in my tummy
    desire in every cell
    a certainty
    a knowing
    a thrill of
    not knowing
    Be still, don't scare it
    so beautiful this feeling
    i want to capture it
    this flutter of feelings
    don't let them fly away.

How well all those that have ever loved know these feelings. Thank you for puting them into words.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
