    invisible love

    Love is so bountiful
it follows us, shouts to us
    we are oblivious
    too busy complaining
    about a lack of love
Love wants to be our friend
Love tries to warn us from hurt
but we say "you are jealous, you dont care"
"what would you know about love?"
Love tells us stories of experience
    but we tell love
    "you are old fashioned"
    "things are different these days"
    Love tries to cuddle us
    show us it's acheivements
But we say "I am too busy"
    and we push love away
and we send love to it's room
Love tries to curl up on our lap
    but we shoo love away
and we say to love "you are a pest"
and we shut love out in the cold
We cry ourselves to sleep asking
    "where is the love?"
The a stranger comes and claims our heart
    tramples it
    bruises it
shouts to us "I hate you, i will beat you and cheat you"
    and we say
    "yes, you must be love!!!"

    Another nice poem well done

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
