    City Bus Ride

    I do not feel happy today, all my joy has gone away.
    The man on the bus, he is grossing me out.
    "STOP IT!" I just want to shout.
    I forgot how weird and un-clean these people are,
    Jeff is right, I am spoiled by far.
    I don't want these feelings to overwhelm me- anger, hatred and disgust.
    I need a change of attitude; change of scenery is a must!
    Get me off this damn bus.
    I need on the bike.
    These people are weird, these people I don't like.
    Sounds like Dr. Suess, the way this poem rhymes.
    I dislike this 1A, I've been down this route too many times.
    Get me off- off this bus;
    It is vital. It is a must!

    The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

    Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
