Daddy's Little Girl

Daddy's Little Girl

Your dad loves you with all of his heart, from beginning to end to end to start. It hurts me so bad when your not around, but your so close to me in a small near town. I love you more then you will ever know, from the time you were small until the next time you grow. I can't give you all of the man made things, but my love for you brings bigger and better things. No other man can take my place because people see me in your own little face. I will be your dad for the rest of your life, now I know that it was a great sacrifice.

This poem was written for my Daughter
Dykescha, on her 12th birthday, April 8 (born 1989)

This poem really touched me. I have 3 children and they are my entire world on earth. She is a lucky daughter! Great job! I'll give it a 10.

Wow thanks Jade, I really appreciate that. You can also read my other poems, on my page. You are very pretty also. (No Offense)

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
