    Dead Ends

    Dead Ends, we all have them

    Sometimes, we feel as though we cannot escape them.

    Sometimes, we are so wrapped up in them, we forget to have fun and live

    But, other times we just go on with life,

    because we know that it will blow over soon,

    and then we can get back to the way things were.

    I have had a lot of time like these..

    sometimes worse than others,

    but I just kept my head up and let it go...and kept living

    I loathe times like these because it makes me forget who I am as a person,

    and just focus on that one aspect of life, good or bad

    and when this happens i look to Him for guidance,

    and he lights my way in luminescence,

    so brightly, I cant help but choose the path he has given me.

    Sometimes, all I need is a little guidance to get through the day.

    And with this I say, Ye, and I know he forgives me for my sins

    This is inspiring Dino, I enjoyed the feeling of fresh air in the way to get out of the hurt and pain is through his guidance, I love the line you use as you write he lights my way in luminescence. This is in my fav's now!! Hugz

    why thank you caryn once again...but the "he" in this poem isnt God, its my grandpa,who isnt here anymore but i know he's alwyas looking out for me...if you would like to learn more about him...you shoul check out "The Warrior"

    You know. I'm really glad that I took you to church with me. Yu are really starting to see things in a new light and I'm glad I could be of assistance in doing that. Great poems focuses on both the good and the bad aspect of life

    sometimes the only thing we can do is fight to stay by his side even when we just feel like givin in!!!! love this poem

    Thank you...that was actually pretty fun to write

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
