    Double minded man

    Double minded man"

time card bouncing from the slot
    car keys in his hand
    so many neon lights tonight
    for the double minded man,

    a cell phone flashes open
his wife now say s hello
    babe I’m working late tonight
    thought that you should know

she says "I’ve doubled up the pillows
    I’m pretending they are you
you’re working so much double time
I don’t know what to do.

    Drowning now in neon lights
    there’s a double minded man
half his life is just a lie
    tell me who can understand

time card bouncing from the slot
    phone number in his hand
a lie holds true , once again
    for the double mind man

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
