    Duct Tape And Gasoline

With the duct tape and the gasoline,
    You fled the scene
Fear is hidden behind blind rage
In the book of insanity, you've written a new page
She swore she'd never love another
But from her body your mistakes they will discover
    The memories she's burned
With a lighter, causing every inch of old pains to seemingly return
The guy she was with will be pleading the fifth
    Through the weapons you sift
When to his face you fearlessly lift
    The knife you've been saving
    With one quick simple flick
Brings all the glorious joy you've been craving
It'll send all your painful memories to the coffin you've been saving.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
