Eyes Wide Open

Eyes Wide Open

Accepting all as an enevitability
leaves open the treasure
meant for be protected for that one,
recklessly tarnished goods prevailing
at the height of vile deception
only to reveal something so tormented
that the devil himself has shed a tear.
Pushing through the barracades of hatred
for an eternity of heart-wrenching twilight,
on the last strand of faith in humaniy.
Dangling from the neck,
watching your last breath
dessert you like everything else
you've come to know and endure.

I think everything in life should be approached with eyes wide open. Some people are so blinded by love, hate, greed and lust that they become naive andlose their grip on reality. I use to be one of those people. Love this one!

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
