    The Life You Once Knew

Searching for the power to surpass the
agonizing level of sadistic arrogance displayed
by the manipulative people i call friends,
brings me to an overwhelming urge to finally let them know
how misguided their view of me has been.
But to no prevail  it was preceived by them
as an ungreatful attempt to sabotage their way of living
and their happy ending, as they deem me
to be a devious pyschopath pulsating with a malicious aura
streaming out through my every heartbeat.
It surprises me to buckle down
while still avoiding the act of believing
that I have something so fragile as a heart
striving for life inside my flesh.
    Goosebumps arisewhen anything ressembling joy
    is recognized through my pupils,
while in a deep saturated blank stare,
the indictment of my prolongued envolvement
is shunned and excommunicated by others.
These evil beings developed from the testicles of satan
that carry more hatred & evil than one can ever truly know,
    are walking around amongst us
influencing the lives of the easily corrupted.
The loyal brainless followers fulfill orders
    whenever commanded to do so,
causing a plague upon the promise of a future,
the survival of the world now rest upon the shoulders
    of this tainted bunch.
Where will the world end up?
    Whose hands hold our fate?
The kind compassionate leaders where chased away.
Now the lazy arrogant bastards that expected others
to do for them cause everyone to suffer a fatally brutal end.

My God, you're only 22, yet you have a way of expressing life so vividly and with such graphic words. You are truly a great poet. I'm adding this one to my favorites!

Very strong poem, I agree with you, I was happy in the 90's, when we could fight as one for peace for all our kind, when we would not forsake any one to those devils that hate us all. I love your work, take courage, Itzam-NA is on your side.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
